Pool room online exam
In this scenario, students work on exam tasks via the ILIAS test object on a pool room computer in a predefined time window.
For the duration of the exam, the computer is set to a mode that only allows access to the resources permitted for the exam. Thereby, the network access can be restricted or blocked for all websites deviating from the exam platform. Various task formats can be used in the online examination and, depending on the selected task type, the functions of the automated evaluation in ILIAS can be used. In addition, individual questions and values within the examination tasks can be randomized for greater security against cheating. ILIAS is also used to control the time periods for processing the exam and the authentication of the students via KIT account.
This scenario offers the advantage that the use of unauthorized aids and the transmission of exam content to outsiders can be prevented technically without additional effort.
